Treatment Information

Each acupuncture treatment in our clinic can be performed by using different instruments including laser, magnets, moxa, needles and others.
Cupping can also be done when necessary.

Acupuncture needles are used to increase the amount of energy in the body and in particular 'blocked' energy lines. Since acupuncture needles are much thinner than needles used for injections and also because special techniques are used to apply them, the acupuncture process is usually not painful for patients.

We also perform laser acupuncture which is effective in the treatment of acute and chronic health disorders.

Small medical magnets are very important tools to regulate the distribution of energy in the body. They attract energy to the deficient energy lines and improve the energy supply of sick organs and tissues.

Our Approach

When a disease or illness has only just started and a patient has enough energy to respond to treatment, acupuncture can be very effective very quickly. The problem can sometimes disappear in 5 - 10 minutes, as if by magic!

If the disease has existed for only a relatively short period of time, it can often be treated in 1 - 6 visits.

In very chronic conditions, many energy lines may have already been weakened and significant blockages of energy-flow may have appeared. In these cases, it can take some time to restore the flow of energy. It may be necessary to receive 10 - 15 treatment sessions based on regular visits of once a week or once a fortnight.

In some cases, we can't successfully open blockages completely or sometimes the blockages have a tendency to return. For these patients, it is recommended that they receive supportive treatment or maintenance once every 3 - 4 weeks for a year or longer. In these cases, acupuncture may help to stop the progression of the disease, or to reduce and even stop the need for medications.

For the most effective treatment, acupuncture should be taken once a week or once a fortnight.

Maintenance (supportive) acupuncture is usually done once every 3 - 4 weeks, depending on the patient's condition.

Preventive assessment and acupuncture should be done once every 3 - 4 months.
